The Paradip Development Authority spreads over 235.22 sq km(120 revenue villages) . Out of which urban area spreading over 47.99 sq km (6 revenue villages) & where the rural area extending over 187.23 sq km (surrounding 114 villages)

As per notification Municipality covers the revenue villages  Bhitargarh, Sandhakud, Bijaychandrapur, Chauliapalanda, and Udayachandpur.
